pubil«In mid-June 2014, ICSID staff met with counsel and arbitrators, and participated in several conferences in Mexico City. On June 17, the Secretary-General of ICSID, Meg Kinnear, spoke at a conference on the practice of international arbitration in Latin America, Evolución y Práctica del Arbitraje Internacional en Latinoamérica. This was the first conference held by the Asociación Latinoamericana de Arbitraje (ALARB), which was created in 2010 by a group of practitioners dedicated to international arbitration in Latin America. The Secretary-General moderated a panel featuring Gabriela Álvarez Ávila, Hugo Perezcano and Henri Álvarez on the influence NAFTA has had on investor-state arbitration over the past 20 years. …»
