The Hertie School is recruiting a scholar to fill a vacancy in international law. The search committee welcomes applications from both junior and senior candidates as well as applications from related legal fields such as comparative or transnational law. The position is full-time and with rank open. Expected start date is September 2015.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree, have a proven research record in relevant fields, top publications in international law, and teaching experience. The Hertie School seeks faculty with a commitment to intensive, high-quality teaching, and experience in policy advising. Candidates are expected to show full commitment to working in an interdisciplinary, international environment with English as the language of instruction and operation.
The successful candidate is expected to take on a role in the upcoming Master of International Affairs as well as to teach courses in the School’s Master, Executive, and PhD programmes.[…]
